  • New; sorry it’s a different bike, but my phone died, the dog ate my homework and it’s only a game (two of those things are a lie.

  • I went out looking at lunch. All I got was a puncture! FFS! I don’t even have time to get a coffee. Bigger FFS!!

  • Guys a bit of a thread derail but this is the only really active Norwich thread.
I have three hours to kill in Norwich tomorrow 3:30-6:30pm.
I’ve never visited before so it seems a shame to just go to a pub.
    What should I do?
    Unfortunately I’m without bike.

  • In 3 hours you could walk around the whole city, it’s tiny, mighty, but tiny.
I’d get coffee from Strangers (Pottergate), chips from the place opposite. Or if you want to go native Peas (with mint sauce) off the market. (The market is the uks biggest covered one)
If you do end up in the pub, The Belgian Monk has an impressive stock of euro beers to wash down some Frits and mayo. (Just down from Strangers) if you are there and passing you could pop into the oldest head shop in the uk, Head in the Clouds.
Take a walk round the Lanes, independent shops.
If you are that way inclined a look at the cathedral, there are two. One for each foot.
Bridewell museum is worth a look.
Coffee from Kofra is good (Upper St Giles, top of the lanes) a cardamom bun from the bakers just up from them.
You could hire a bike and attempt Gas Hill, home of the Gas Hill Gasp! (Norfolk is flat, my arse)
Walk up or down, or both Elm Hill the oldest commercial street in the uk, a real picturesque place.
A walk along the river is nice.
If you are in a car you could go over to the UEA and visit The Sainsbury’s centre to fill up on Art, they have an impressive collection.
    Enjoy!

  • Actually thinking about it.
Hire a bike and find the last Tag, because I can’t!

  • Thank you, that should keep me out of trouble.

  • I’m going up city tomorrow, can I get a clue? Pretty please.

  • haha, again, we know where this is, but life is currently not furnishing us with enough time to go and grab it, do you want me to DM you the location? It'll Co$t you!

  • do you want me to DM you the location

    The horror!!!

@Chaley don't be a marionette and let RunRabbitRun pull your strings. You can complete this show yourself...

  • Mwah ha ha ha haaaaaaaaaa (and fa la la!)

  • Thank you for the offer @RunRabbitRun but @jdp has given a big enough clue and we don’t want to get on the wrong side of him ;) X
