Why do Three want a bunch of info about my home and job to run a credit check just to add another SIM to an existing account that has never missed a payment for the last 5+ years?
I believe it's partially, if not totally, due to the merger with Vodafone, who do require credit checks on upgrades. Three never use to run a credit check on upgrades or account changes previously, but we upgraded my eldest's phone recently and they ran a credit check as part of that process.
