Just been told we dont need a spare cargoer. Think that misses the point but here we are.
Thanks for the offer though bud !
Used it a few times and the handling is pretty good, Dutch bike style (saddle lower and arms higher than on a normal bike). The bag fixes to the headtube so the steering is comfortable and consistent.
Italian built bike with a 7sp Nexus rear hub, front Shimano dyno and lights, 70L reinforced waterproof bag, roller brakes, rear wheel lock w/2 keys… it’s a great town bike for folks who need to move several backpacks worth of stuff in a single bag. And that’s not including the rear rack. The Big Apple tyres are comfortable and very puncture resistant, and I put muc off tube sealant (which doesn’t dry) in the tubes for additional protection.
I got this bike from someone who couldn’t extract the seatpost. I (a former Cytech mechanic instructor) removed it using caustic soda, which meant disassembling the bike and reassembling it with new grease, cables, housing. I intended to do a full repaint but that hasn’t happened. That led to giving the bike a full rebuild, with a new chain, hub services, and I even took the roller brakes apart to inspect and clean them. It’s not a new bike but it’s in good condition, and it’s stored in my dry storage unit so it needs a new home quick. I never got around to connecting the rear light but it shouldn’t be too much of a hassle.
Now £200 if collected today!!
