My sense of smell never came back properly after getting Cov in the early days of 2020. It's probably about 25% of what was normal before, but there aren't too many occasions when it has a negative impact, and there are positives, like not being bothered by the dog farting. Of all the senses you could lose, it's the one you'd choose.
