"Reports: Tom Pidcock set to leave Ineos Grenadiers with immediate effect
It looks like the transfer saga of the winter is coming to an end, after it was reported this afternoon that Tom Pidcock and the Ineos Grenadiers have parted ways by mutual consent.

The British team are expected to issue a press release confirming the news later today, after Pidcock – who is not present at the squad’s training camp in Spain this week – and the Ineos management came to an agreement to terminate his contract, which was due to run until 2027.

While the move will make the Olympic mountain bike champion a free agent immediately, it is not yet known when Pidcock’s expected transfer to Q36.5 will be confirmed.

road.cc has contacted Pidcock’s long-term coach Kurt Bogaerts, who declined to comment on the news.

Ineos are yet to respond to a request for comment.

They have space, and will have the budget, but we don't know if they have the inclination. Visma-Lease a Bike have space too, but highly unlikely he'll go there.

To be honest, if he does end up at Q36.5 then he needs a new agent.

Yes, that's what most reckon will happen. He'll continue to ride Pinarello MTB's, but will ride Scott road bike which the road team ride.

I found the arse panel quite odd on the 2024 kit. But the bikes look great.

Thoughts on new kits as they arrive?
Inneos looks basically the same but for some reason they have white helmets for some riders, maybe just for training.
Cofidis I’m not sure I like just cos Cofidis should be red and white.
Lidl is pretty good I think, it’s growing on me each year.
Soudal quickstep whatever they are now are busy ironing a few more sponsors onto their jersey.
Q36.5 to have a white rose on their back?
Will anyone do a dramatic change?

Cofidis is great but only because Belgian champs kit always looks good
