• This was meant to be heading north to Vandal Metalworks, but I’ve simply not had the time or energy to source a box. So now offering up for collection in Cardiff. What’s the catch?

Well, this was one of my favourite builds ever until it went weirdly wrong. Lost my keys in a lift shaft (!) so this was left locked up in central Cardiff for a week while I waited for a new lock key. Sometime in that week the bike got a bit of a kicking of some sort, so now the rear triangle is out of whack and the rear wheel sits too close to one of the chain stays. You can technically correct for this with the horizontal dropouts but even then it rides like poo - on a tight geo frame like this any misalignment is painfully obvious when riding.

The good news for me was that my insurance paid out in full (hello Moulton), but the whole thing was still crap just cos this is such a good frame.

As it’s an insurance write off I can’t sell it without doing a fraud, and the insurer has given me permission to dispose of it as I see fit, so most of the bits have already been passed on for free. I’m now looking to move the frameset, Prolite wheels and tyres onto a new home where hopefully someone is willing to spend a bit to get it repaired and back on the road.

BB is Italian so I’ll include the one that’s already fitted, and headset is also kinda specific as the stack height is silly short.

57cm seat tube, 55cm top tube - and an example of it built up is included too.

I’d love it if the new owner felt compelled to make a small donation to a good cause to make a sad story a bit happier. I really like Jewish Voice For Peace or Mazon Canada (a sick leftie Jewish food granting charity doing mad good work), but this is very optional.

Again no postage right now, so come collect it so I stop having to look at it and feel sad.
