Any owners of male labs out there?
Are they mad? Do they sleep?

Our group of “people what bought a dog from the same people” had a WhatsApp check in yesterday “has your dog started their second season yet?” (which was a coincidence). Led to two owners telling me their male dogs don’t sleep during the day, are super energetic, one gun dog trainer has stopped working with one of the dogs.
Is that normal? It feels crazy. And makes me grateful/nervous.

There’s definitely a phase where they’re difficult. But - by all accounts- fox reds are little fucking balls of insanity though, don’t think there’s much of a gender difference.
Just met a 12 week pup, identical to Dora, immediately triggered the urge to get another one.
