Good question, no brake = better flow and fluidity, no backing out, fear
Brake = ability to stop, less fear, habit , safety net. Legal to ride wherever i want

Apologies if I'm aging you unnecessarily, but a brake also means you can do fufanus and pretend to be in an iconic mid-school (I hate that my era of BMX is now called that) video.
Although, brakeless means you can pretend to be in Can I Eat or Voices so there's that.
