Where do these stats actually come from? I clicked the link but couldn't find an ONS or government source, and the funding figure doesn't match at all what other reputable sources have. Your figure appears to overstate by give or take £10bn...

Yeah but statista is just a data aggregator, I think. The actual source of the data is just listed as 'D Clark' (just some guy?), you can't see any more, perhaps unless you're a member. Given that it is miles off the official government data, I'm inclined to think it's absolute bollocks
