Sorry I guess you won't know that.
We used to live in a place with bulbs around the bathroom mirror and I've got to say I really liked it for shaving and general grooming.
Also I thought you were having a laugh with your description, but genuinely wtaf?!
This lamp is like a pearl necklace that bejewels your bathroom.

They could be a bit bright, but you could play with the bulbs to bring the brightneess down.
We've got the two plug in versions in a cupboard and 10 bulbs is bright. But this is good for :
doing make up
doing hair
doing a call at the desk in the cupboard -

Have you got a link to the plug in versions? I can't find them on the IKEA website and I'm trying to work out if I can convert yours into the same by just attaching a run of 3 core cable with a plug on the end of it.

I think some one electrically minded could sort this.

Page 18 shows it has a spring-loaded terminal block, so you could e.g. cut the cord off literally any old appliance, or use an old IEC lead. Only two core needed.

Thanks, realised I'd also need to add a switch somehow and also cut a hole in the casing to get the cable out. Probably better off just getting the corded versions which seem to be a lot cheaper for some reason.

Bejwell your bathroom with pearl necklaces.
Brand new, never fitted, bought and lost motivation/couldn't find an electrician, bought plug in version instead.
