Not getting excited yet, but he has United playing with some kind of purpose at least.

What a start from Liverpool, City are awful.

Went yesterday (EMR did their best to stop me - that train line is the worst thing about being a London Forest fan). Comfortable win and yes, the defence looks solid now (Aine MOTM for me). MGW had an average game and I’m not sure where goals would come from if Wood gets injured). Good atmosphere up next to the safe standing in Upper BC stand.
ETA: on the train home an Ipswich fan said we are the best they’d played all season, which surprised me.

I wouldn't quite say that but it's definitely the only game I've seen where I've come away from it thinking we lost because we came up against a team with a better plan.
Liverpool we ran ourselves into the ground and they strolled past us, Man City we gifted goals to and they didn't get out of second gear, but yesterday we played to our best in the first half and couldn't find a way through, then were shut down well in the second.
It was the only game I've seen where we didn't get a lot wrong but didn't look like we'd get anywhere.

Players that celebrate their goals by indiscriminately firing a pretend gun into the crowd. Why? Zirkzee did it today and I think Mitrovic used to as well. Weird flex.

Contador famously had a similar celebration, probs just living up to his nickname

Faced with chants of "you're getting sacked in the morning", a downcast-looking Guardiola humbly reminded Liverpool fans how many of his last seven games had ended in defeat:

Still here, if reduced to watching matches from behind the sofa.
For now. -

There was a guy on 606 last night saying it was time to replace Pep with Jose.

What's your take on the situation? Srs. No poking or needle.
Is it : "end of the line for the squad and not enough forward planning" or "FUCKING DOOM BURN IT ALL LET'S GET READY FOR STOCKPORT AWAY"?

Sent to me by an Arsenal-supporting friend. I suspect it's unlikely the Premier League will end up with as many asterisks as the TdF.

Rodri is injured. It’s basically that simple, no?

Possibly controversial, but having now seen this I actually thought that red card was a bit harsh. The guy making the tackle is on the turn, only has eyes for the ball and wins it at a bit above waist height. Bloke who gets clattered is basically crouching when he comes in for the challenge. Nasty clash but maybe a yellow for me.

amorim likes his early goals doesn't he. three 1st / 2nd minute goals in the last 6 halves of football.
