Looking to reupholster this 70s Yrjö Kukkapuro glass-fibre chair. Any thoughts on what would suit it? Bit tempted to go with a colorful corduroy. So many options..

Yes to corduroy! Maybe like a dark mossy green or a tobacco colour

Nice chair!
Corduroy would suit the era I guess, unsure if stripey structure plus stripey base isn’t too much.
Really fancy velvet? Colourful is definitely a good idea.
