The 4sale thread is showing some seismic activity.

My rental for today. Felt like riding on my dad's bike as a kid, way too big. Also, the saddle clamp on these sl8's, is similar to campagnolo 60s/70s record. Only with allen bolts that have tiny holes on the side, so you can acces it with a 1mm allen and turn it 25° at a time. Seems to be specific for saddles with a hole in it. I will not be dreaming of an sl8 for a while. Did I mention the horrible disc brakes?

Looks like the saddle is on backwards somehow.

That's bad

Why build a bike where the rear wheel doesn’t fit?
-

They are asking £3.5k for the frameset? That might be that maddest thing I have ever seen.

Track bikes are kinda getting like tt bikes though eh?
Wet didn’t do enough shaming when everyone was running 3t Sphinx bars and now they think they can do what they want.

Maybe it's an incentive to get quicker. You'd want to be going at a fair clip on that thing so that nobody could get a proper look at it.

I don't think it's that bad, just a different paintjob and surroundings (where in the geoguessr is that?) and all is well.

pretty much everything here 100% warrants inclusion in this thread

Those forks next to that stem: it hurts to see aesthetics like that

Where were you a decade ago when all the top sprinters were mixing cutting edge carbon frames with entry level stems?

There, there, it gets the job done just fine.
...Maybe eliciting eyelid twitches is also part of its job?
