  • After the Abingdon marathon, I kind of ended up in another build phase and have been doing more hill/speed work in the weeks since. I’d been so careful in the build to that race that I basically just did a load of zone 2 and just enough speed to be comfortable pushing for sub 3 but was very nervous of injury, so have thrown caution to the wind slightly and went out on a solo time trial this morning to see what it’s done.

  • Maybe - depends on motivation but shaving a minute and 50 seconds off would be doable, but it’s just a never ending cycle of improving times.
