Blimey. Any idea if they were testing them on the spot to see if they were legal? I guess some things (throttles etc) are pretty obvious but I can't see them testing the speed etc there and then.

I was just passing. The copper was chatting to a member of the public and talking about throttles so they might have been testing that if nothing else.
