Am I getting it about right? It doesnt look much like it but i can reach the lever in the drop. Anyway, if i get a pass, I'll move forward to the bar tape thread..
Thanks for previous comments about other tektro hoods (~ #1229); i will seek some advice at my LBS on more comfy replacements

That looks like it isn't very comfortable in any of the possible hand positions.
Bars look to be adjusted pretty well, but hoods are way to high up on the bars. Might be difficult to get a good fit moving them down but I would try that.
If you can afford it I would consider getting some modern compact bars instead. -

Cheers! It was more comfy for me than perhaps it looks but only a few laps of TRP today. Compact bars are a good shout. I think I'll pop into SBC and have a chat

The bar tape on my Slate is shameful, and I have a job interview tomorrow - clearly this is the right time to fix the bar tape thoroughly.
As a dedicated follower of fashion I shall be endeavouring to make this thread happy with my bicycle setup, stand by for more as we have it.

I’ve just swapped out my deda super leggera stem and bars for a uno stem with exs r175 bars does this look right? Can’t tell if hoods should go down a smidge

I find classic bars really comfortable, just drop your levers to an almost horizontal position.

Please provide any feedback before I tape these up. Thank you in advance.
(Edit: I know my cables are too long, they will be trimmed in due course when I settle on a bar width)

personal preference and all that, but i'd go hoods up a few degrees.

There no room for personal preference here ;)

Give them a try so that currently horizontal part is the same angle as the stem

Ta, I appreciate I should rotate them down and move the hoods up, but it's the brake reach issue I'm struggling with :-s
I might just have to admit defeat and go back to my old bars!
