• Just wanted to say that the information and insights you provide are fun, especially the prototyping and fabric technology stuff.
Makes me (almost) miss the fashion student times.
Does not feel like advertising at all, which is probably the reason it makes me want to buy Albion ;-).

  • Black Friday is approaching! :D

  • Thank you @c.h.e. that's appreciated - I do an occasional bit of teaching and always enjoy it, although it must be tough to study and setout into the industry these days (relative to my time +20 years back).

  • No experience of Rapha but the Albion Three Season Bibs are easily the comfiest I’ve ever worn.

  • Tried on the Mountain Zoa jacket at Condor the other day, really nicely made and fitting jacket. When I need to replace my old Haglofs primaloft jacket I'll definitely grab one.

  • I just got the new mt zoa, hood this morning was a nice upgrade from the lightweight zoa this morning.

  • Haha, I graduated in 2008. No idea if getting set up as a designer is harder nowadays, but if I knew some things i learned in those almost 20 years back then I'd managed.

  • haven't given my new mountain zoa a proper run yet, but has had a fair bit of night time riding around town. Super warm but totally usable for riding, though i haven't had one of the og zoas so can't compare with that. The only downside I have is that since its one of the most valuable items of clothing I own, I'm a bit scared of actually using it. I'll get over that as we head into winter though no doubt

I also ordered it the afternoon of release day and it arrived the following morning, so strong work from DPD and Albion/3PL

  • Call it OCD, had to find the perfect dry bag for the Ultralight insulated jacket (which I'm using way more than anticipated, so good). 3.7 grams for the weenies.

Unfortunatly, for anyone with the same compulsion, found this one on US etsy and had it picked up over there. The size is almost perfect for a Small (0.5cm wider would be spot on), I'm sure a more local maker could knock one up easily.

    Mini: 4” wide, 6” tall (.35L) (10.16 x 15.24 cm)

  • OCD

    hose lengths beg to differ

  • Triggered by the bartape

  • 🤣 it's still work in progress

    that'll never end

  • Winter leggings then whats the sizing like please ?

  • Same size as the cargo bib shorts works for me.

  • Yeh but i dont wear cargo stuff ?

  • And the not-cargo bibs. Which of the Albion longs were you asking about?

  • Basically a medium in all the shorts / longs but that's the womens fit.

  • Gone with the medium

  • Just a reminder for the two repair sessions this coming Friday;

    Condor Cycles WC1X 8PP 08.00 - 16.00
    Bianca Road Brewery, SE16 3RD 19.00 - 22.00

Hopefully the evening event will allow people to attend that can't make it during the day. It will be hosted by Lost Dot, and will be a presentation of the 2025 Transcontinental Route, so should be a great night - if you can register interest here, it helps with anticipation of numbers.

  • @spinnnout nice pouch :) ...I'd would love to do a make-your-own workshop someday...!

  • Plus^^ if you are busy, we'll have loads of iron-patches (and zip pulls) to take away (for free) and do in your own time :)

  • had my bibs patched up today, cheers! @Chopsicle

  • My partner surprised me by taking a partially shredded Rapha rain jacket of mine in for repair at Condor today, along with some of her kit. Honestly didn't think it would be repairable, so thank you @Chopsicle and crew.
