Was just discussing with a friend who was wearing a gold vintage Casio and I the above, that a Seiko/GS Hi-beat is next in line for me

I only ask as I can always try and do a forum friends and family price on Grand Seiko for anyone interested.
More difficult on limited edition bits n bobs but I will always try.

This arrived this morning - I’m actually a bit underwhelmed by it. Doesn’t feel like a £1k watch

Nice looking watch though. My Ti Khaki field is my least accurate and sounds and feels cheap when winding but it's still the watch I wear the most. Wearing a very accurate GS today though

Thanks chap. It was indeed through the boutique, as it's an LE I wanted to make sure I'd get one, and assumed there'd be no discounts anywhere on them. Apparently there were only 30 pieces going to the dealer network in the UK.

If I can ever afford a watch again after this, I'll keep you in mind as always… :)

I thought as much , it seems that some LE are available to “salons” and some only through themselves .

I don't know how they were distributed (I only know that Watches of Switzerland didn't want to take it for some reason)… It's limited to 1200 pieces globally so I can imagine there were just never going to be many units in the UK, full stop, and so inevitably a lot of them are going to stay with the boutique.
