• Just got this, and would like to eventually upgrade the wheels to something nicer / stronger.

They're labelled Genesis Sr24. Apparently this is the spec:
    Rims: Jalco SR240D / 32h
    Hubs: Joytech D341RCC/D342RCC 32h / front / rear / 6-bolt
    Spokes: Steel 14g

Need QR hubs, rims suitable for 35 or 38mm tyres, and for a fat guy of about 100kg + some panniers (maybe 15-20kg max). Bike weighs about 13kg in the XL size, complete with the wheels above.

Would this be a nice set-up? Or not strong enough for my weight + bags? I know nothing about tubeless, but I guess these rims can be used with or without tubes.

    HED Belgium G, 700c, 32h
    DT Swiss Alpine III spokes
Hope Pro 5 Centrelock hubs, 32h

Other suggestions welcome. There’s also these, which would be much cheaper, but they only have 24 spokes:

Also related: Shimano XT MT800 rotors, on centrelock hubs, should fit fine with the calipers and frame, assuming they're the same 160mm as the current rotors?
