Yeah, a lovely gent local ish to me came and saw it in the flesh. Understandably he wanted to view it before committing. I'd barely opened the garage and he was thrusting a cash deposit in my hand! He could tell right away that it was mint and just wanted it.
Delighted it's going to proper motorbike enthusiast. He's well into his 70s and has been riding over 60 years! He's returning tomorrow with a friend with a van to collect it. Bitter/sweet for me as I've loved riding it, but I'm delighted with my Thruxton which wouldn't have been possible without selling the monkey.
