In that it's a good ending or that you're glad it's over?

Anyone started on Dune: Prophecy? I'm really struggling not to find it a snoozefest so far!
Some fairly mediocre acting, too. -

Both.
I really enjoyed S1. Not life changing, but a light, fun thing to veg out to in the evening. S2 just never seem to have the same thing until the last few esp.

Tried Fallout, 17 Emmy nominations, all for makeup and costumes I can only surmise.
Very dull, gave up after 1 1/2 episodes. -

Did you play the games?
I thought it was pretty good. -
• #9982
No, last game I played was Wipeout, and before that Sonic.

You are wrong.

• #9984
Yeah same. Quite enjoyed The Last of Us though

Really enjoying Rivals. It's got some sort of ITV 3-parter vibe mixed with 80s nostalgia but brought up-to-date with a more graphic script.
Very much more than the sum of it's parts. Danny Dyer is good too. Reminds you why he first made it after Human Traffic.

It's been well received by people who aren't gamers and by some who (like me) who are but have never played the Fallout games (I should probably take that to the "I confess" thread). But if you found it dull then our tastes are so different that there's not much I can say beyond I'm on @snottyotter 's side.

It is Jilly Cooper FFS.

Please play Fallout, if you have the means. I will never forget the Christmas when I’d bought Far Cry for PS3 (and it was shit), and I went to Croydon to do my shopping and swapped it in for Fallout 3 just because I was there. I managed to do the Christmas shopping quickly and was home by lunchtime and loaded up Fallout and the rest is history. Must’ve played it for ten hours straight and was just astounded by the story and scale of it.
The TV series does a great job of conveying the questing side of it, without any crude or literal motifs.
I think my favourite stuff was the meeting of randoms, like this dude.

Feel very similar about Last of Us. The second game gets exceedingly HEAVY, so I’m very interested how that pans out in the next series(es)

Miriam Margolyes Australia Unmasked is a really nice watch.
She is hilarious, you can’t help but wish she was your Gran.

It is Jilly Cooper FFS.
I've never read her books, but it's a solid entertainment. Don't be so snobby. There are people up thread jizzing over a series spun off a computer game.
Or do you mean the series isn't true to the books, I should read the books and you're just all round appalled that they've have the temerity to commercialise her littery works?

Also sneeking in a second go at Mr Inbetween. Fucking great even though it wasn't so long ago that I watched it first time around. Would love to be able to forget the whole thing so I could watch it for the first time again.

Binged Say Nothing and would recommend... definitely see Gerry Adams in a different light after watching it

In what sense? Gave you more empathy for him?
Just a nice guy given the unfortunate job of being an omelette maker trying his best not to break eggs?

Haven't read her books either. Many middle aged women read the books and were classed as horsey romance books. Though the covers like the one riders were the level of book that I'm not interested.
Oh as for fallout, they made a film about battleships FFS.
Also I haven't read or watched any of the shades books or films as they are fucking awful

My friend’s father in law was a drinking buddy of The Dark, he is of the opinion it’s quite a balanced account.

Watch it, as any explanation is a bit of a spoiler.

Netflix's Senna could've done with a more generous location budget. The shot introducing 'Norfolk' raised eyebrows, and they're kinda stuck there.
Other than that, decent first episode.
The end is the best part of the whole series.
