Out of budget for me.
Riviera do make lovely carpets though.

Well, we’re getting about 50sqm mid range wool carpet with premio underlay (and stairs) fitted for £3.5k from Tapi in Nov 2024, so it sounds about right. Considering that I don’t move in circles where I, my wider family or contacts know, or care, how to fit carpets, it seems fine.

On carpets, saw this non-sisal, sisal looking carpet which is apparently flying out the door. Out of budget for me. I just want something that'll still be nice in 1-2 years, even with the odd bike passing through, when I plan to move (covered in bastard neighbours thread)
