Maybe I’m imagining things but the Penguin has Tony Soprano’s voice and mannerisms down to a tee.

Just started Syndrome E on Channel 4, french detective series but already seriously weird in a good way.

I was trying for ages to remember which Korean horror/monster series I'd been enjoying before life events distracted me. Then I remembered that it was Gyeongseong Creature. Then I remembered I'd cancelled my Netflix account in the meantime.
If I were going to reopen the account for one show, that'd be it. Not going to, but check it out if you haven't already.

Re-watching Severance S1 in prep for S2. Just as good on second viewing, absolutely brilliant TV.

First episode of Dune Prophecy was very good, not sure I followed everything but it has me hooked, looks and sounds great too.

A Man On The Inside On Netflix. Ted Danson, Stephanie Beatriz and a host of other great actors in a bittersweet comedy mostly set in a retirement home.
Typing that makes it sound hopeless. But it isn't, it is an absolute delight about loneliness, getting old and losing it.
And I'm sure a Frank Lloyd Wright house has a bit of a role aswell. -

Enjoyed the first 2 Dunes, but they're my vibe and I like how they got a space Viking involved.
Watched a couple of a man on the insides too as Ted Danson and good place writers means it'll be good enough to fill some half hour occasions.

A good friend from Northern Ireland gave me the tip to watch Say Nothing, he has family members who knew many of the people involved in the events depicted and says it is pretty accurate. Two episodes in and I am gripped.

Often on the look out for such fodder and recently found English Teacher on Disney/Star. Pilot is a bit of a dud but the rest of the series has been easy enjoyable watching.

Rewatching The Office (UK og version).
It really has stood the test of time.
Weirdly the stuff that dates it makes it now seem retro.

It's brilliant still isn't it? We rewatched them all a while back too

I've just started rewatching 30 Rock. Still surprisingly relevant

What's great is that I watched it when it was on TV which means there are loads of early ones I've not watched, not fully watched, and/or forgotten.
Like Gareth's line about what his fantasy would be. I knew it was coming, but had totally forgotten the full extent of it.
Also my memory was much more about David Brent being the driver of jokes, but actually the whole cast is what really makes it funny, and some of the most laugh out loud moments are Tim's jokes in relation to Gareth.

not watched
Do you not know who Eric Hitchmough is?
Can't go a day without some form of The Office, Day Today, Brass Eye, Partridge, Father Ted reference.

"I don't agree with that in the workplace" 🤣

It's all so relatable. I worked in an office at the time and that overbearing atmosphere of weary acceptance from the minor characters in the background doing mind numbing tasks is so well done.

Same.

Watched The Listeners on BBC. Started off good, but no idea what happened in the last episode. Dont watch if you like a conclusion.

We Are Lady Parts. Despite keeping my eyes open for three years I'd missed that season two was on this Spring. There's not been anything better on all year.

Great show, aye.

Watching Shrinking. Fairly light and ok.
For some reason Mr Inbetween has popped into my mind, and I'm tempted to watch it all again because it's so fucking ace.
I case someone on here hasn't watched it you need to. Right. Now.

Anyone watching season two of The Diplomat?
It's err, ok.
Temple on Netflix. It’s a no from me. I’m going to finish it because there’s no much on but as a program it’s … well it’s not great
