I've been to The Harp before but have always had to stand outside! Don't rate my chances of a seat on a Friday or Saturday night, haha.

Looking for a decent boozer (could do food, but not that fussed) in and around covent garden/holborn sides. Not too touristy, able to have a conversation without shouting.
Any suggestions appreciated. -

Good burgers here. Never have to wait. Good for convo. Quirky interior. Bonus if you like sport. I always go here before I go to The Garden Cinema.

Cross Keys on Endell Street used to be a pretty good option when I worked in the area.

The Lamb and Flag or the Coach and Horses would probably be where I'd head.
Everywhere has a fair chunk of tourists in though round there.

+1 for the Cross Keys. There’s a craft beer co at the end of the street as well if you want to try something special

Another vote for Cross Keys. You can smell the khazis in the Lamb and Flag from across the street.
If you like Belgian beer Lowlander is worth consideration.
Basically next door to the Harp is the Marquis. I understand quite the venue for live mod tribute acts.

The Two Brewers in Monmouth Street.
Go upstairs at the harp. Hidden jewel if you get a seat
