That is only an acceptable offering when you have made your own pistons. But then you are in the right country.....(I think) So does that means you can do that? I haven't got my copy of acceptable offerings to speed god's.
Did you get the metal cornflake like bits in the sump? Or is that only inline 4 that do that?

Yes correct country, only 2ish Hrs away to Burt's house.
Nah there was entire pieces of piston ring in the sump, aluminium literally fused to the end of the con rod on that cylinder and one of the ARP head studs is blue from being hot, plus one of the heads is scrap and all the bottom end shells are scrap too

Was taking the piss, but Burt was a special person.
Have never destroyed a boxer engine to that level, but then I've only broken Alfa sud and beetle engine flat fours and then only burnt valves. Never damaged turbo Subaru engine nor damaged a piston in a flat 4.

The back windscreen heating element on my car doesn't work. Loose wire/blown fuse? Easy fix? Look on YouTube I guess

what the heck are these stupid things ? isn't there enough room on the inside of your huge great big 4x4 already ? is it somewhere to put your wet and smelly dog after a walk on the moors ? or your foot odour ridden walking boots ? or your screaming 7 year old on the way back from prep school ?
seeing more and more land rovers with them attached ? >>>>>>>>> -

No, not in those monstrosities. Absurdly small interior volume for the gigantic exterior and footprint.

They are twatmobiles and this lot make them even twattier
-
• #81061
Basically yes. They were originally designed for outdoor stuff you might not want in the car like wetsuits, wellies and realistically dog eggs. Having said that, your assessment is more accurate.

There's one by us that does the school run everyday with the pop up tent roof thing permanently attached, I don't know, just in case?

When are Landrover bringing out an XL window box to put your G-Line in?
-
• #81070
What an insightful description, you could have said EC1 Collective vibes also but somehow 5th Floor is just more apt.

Their customers are exactly who you can picture. A close friend of mine used to be one of the sales guys, he's related to the owner. I don't know if it's changed since he left (I assume not) but the work environment is as shit as the products

There's one of those murdered out Defenders I pass in my school run, in wildest Norbury. Complete with widdle wadder TM. Keep meaning to get on of the piss take ones off Etsy and see if I can stick it on while passing.
Add it to the shelf labelled “offerings to the god of speed”
