Great update and good vibes all around! Bike is (still) looking excellent. :-)
Goldsprint (German shop) do their own version of the Nitto UI-25 stem:

From looking at the pictures, they both seem identical.Only issue will be shipping and taxes.
Could still end up being only slightly more expensive than Freshtripe, etc. -

Oh thanks for the suggestion! I've just been stung by customs from an order from R2, so I'll probably pass this time, but good to know there are other options out there. Plus, Sam at Freshtripe is so nice, I'm happy to wait to send him business.

Bike rides are less frequent than I’d like, but the wee one is now two and we have a good routine worked out, so I’m managing to get out every so often.
Months and months ago I bought some of the Rene Herse 85th anniversary tyres via the lovely @retrodicorsa and I have finally got around to getting Butternut Bikes to fit them while they were doing a handlebar switch for me.
So, not only do I have new tyres, but I have new stupidly wide Beacon XL bars courtesy of @SI and I love how the bike looks with the cleaner black/silver look.
Now for this storm to bugger off and get out for a ride.

@PeteJChurchill - that's a tasty crust! The all-black (and silver) does look good.
What pressures are you running out of interest?
I assume you're met the RH calculator, which I have found very good, but just in case:

Love the bike. Slightly random question but what pedals are they?

@retrodicorsa I hadn’t actually! Thanks, that’s useful. The SRAM one sometimes turns up some slightly funky numbers.
@Momentum they’re Nukeproof Horizon CS ones - seem decent. Keep me clipped in and have a good platform.

I just went back and looked at all the pics in this thread. This is not the first time I have revisited it. Such a good looking bike.
Oh, what size front ring are you running? Nosey bastard

Didn’t get the notification for this, sorry!
Thank you, most kind. I am very happy with it.
Chainring is a 38t. Probably wouldn’t change it. If I can’t get up something with a 38-52, then I’m never going to get up it and should walk.
First post baby ride out yesterday for some quality SFAB. Out on a loop I've bodged together round Mill Hill, Arkley, Little Heath and Cuffley way.
The Crust held up admirably. The RHs rolled beautiful, although the second we got back onto tarmac my friend was quite keen not to ride behind me as it was like 'being behind a muck spreader'.
One excellent incident of team work required to conquer a collapsed foot bridge and Wash Lane was closed, which meant a trip round the back of South Mimms, but all in all a lovely ride and really glad to get back out there.
Edit: couple of minor amends to make to the bike - going to swap the stem for a longer one. The reach is different to my Midnight Special, and I can get away with it, plus it'll help with slightly twitchy steering at times. I want to fit a Nitto UI-25, but no one seems to have them in stock except supposedly a slightly dodgy looking Amazon seller, who did ship one to me, but curiously it's not arrived after about 3 weeks, so a refund has been obtained. Will look for other similar nice silver options soon.
I have also got hold of a Sinewave Beacon 2 from the lovely Keep Pedalling in Manchester (huge shout out for the lovely service and speedy postage), so am going to fit that soon.
Otherwise, there isn't really anything I'd change. It's a ton of fun.
