More likely just 4mm.

Which ones and what about the stays? Pretty sure you need some spanners (8mm) and iirc, I needed more than what was in the Brompton tool kit.

Just the front one and the stays are all on the bike and fine. The current one is cracked, but the Evan’s near me only had them in black rather than silver Fortunately a pair of just the guards with no fittings was only three quid more than a single elsewhere so at some stage i’ll change the rear.

I will have the spanner’s to hand.

If they are indeed identical, what a shitty move lol.

They are all over eBay marked up as different storage bags. A while back there was a seller that sewed a Brompton label on them and was asking £25!!!

The blurb on that eBay post states the following:
"folding bike bag features a zipper closure for easy access and maximum protection".

and:
"This bag is designed for carrying purposes only and does not provide protective features"

I wouldn’t want to use it as a carry bag, it's ideal for storage though especially if it’s dirty and you do not want to mark walls or get chain grease on hanging coats etc.
would be good to keep the boot/back seat of your porsche/audi/tesla clean too.

I have a couple of the bags. There is no way that I would describe them as robust. They're not. (I bought two cos I'm expecting to tear one fairly readily) But in terms of them enabling me to store my bike in the office without putting any noses out of joint, they're ideal. I wouldn't dream of using the straps to lift the bag when it has a bike in it.
