Ah man, if I were not in London with responsibilities I'd be all over this. Fucking love him. Lambent Rag in particularly.

A bit late but I have a spare for Three Trapped Tigers last ever show tonight, with Adam Betts aka Colossal Squid, at the Electric Ballroom. Tix on Dice or can meet there. £20 or whatever. It’ll be good.

Saw Folk Implosion last night
Good fun, had a chat with Lou, he’s still amusing . They were a lot less drunk than last time I saw them and I’m not normally one to bang on about bass players, but he is really fucking good in an understated way.
Ok with a 2 piece there’s more to do, but still he’s a master without being showy.Support from TLK who did that hard trick of being a unknown to 99% of the audience and winning them over

Was at Hope of the States last night.
Support act had a tough gig playing to a small crowd who weren’t prepared for him.
Also witnessed possibly the most obnoxious behaviour I have ever seen.
Guy comes up to me asks that I hold his pint, he then proceeds to climb over the barrier around the raised, disability, section. Only to be beyond his skill level and therefor stabilised himself by substantially leaning on the person sat in it!
Mysteriously both he and I forgot who he gave his pint to. -

Was also at Hope of the States yesterday. Thought they were great.
There did seem to be some pricks dotted about in the crowd. Feels like a bit of a theme that I’ve had a few times seeing bands that broke up in the mid-2000s doing a reunion. The 45 year olds can’t be trusted to re-live their youth I say.
The venue, Metronome, seemed a bit weird too. Think I was on the opposite side to you and even though it was listed as a sell out it felt pretty empty where I was stood. Possibly the weather stopping people getting through?

Weather and childcare!? 🤣
But yeah I’d agree with all of that. -

Does anyone know of any ticket swap websites that allow you to sell physical paper tickets?
I have sold on ticketswap before but they do not allow resale of physical tickets (tixel also the same).
And on the off chance, anyone want two tickets for Shyfx at Cheese and Grain (Frome) on Friday Dec. 20th? Can send recorded delivery, event is sold out.

And So I Watch You From Afar were brilliant as ever last night. Delta Sleep the co-headliners were also really good. They shifted everything an hour early too so was nice to have a full gig, all wrapped up and be back in before 11.

I had tickets to see them in 2020 at Earth. Canned for obvious reasons.
Hoping to snag tickets for this.

Thanks, I'll bookmark that. I actually managed to sell the tickets on here and the day after that Shy FX cancelled the show, it has been re-arranged for March though.

Hot 8 have a few dates announced for next year. Gonna check them out at Brudenell. Bit expensive but a cool band at one of my favourite venues so hopefully worth it.

Got a surprise ticket to the prodigy tonight at Brixton. Very excited.

Finally got to see C.O.F.F.I.N. last night, they did not disappoint, I was exhausted by the end of the night but a great way to end a busy week at work.
Support band Dad Fight were also fucking amazing, absolutely off the chain mental. The crowd reaction may have been more insane for them than the headliners, deffo going back for more. Weird mix of social commentary/comedy/punk rock hijinx. Go see them if they visit your town!
The most Australian night of music I've experienced in a while, socially responsible yob rock lives.
Long shot but does anyone want two tickets for Clark at CCA in Glasgow tonight? £30 (cost £51)
