I get this comment a lot. But with the large tailbox and taillight, it is actually pretty hard to miss.

This sounds like me. I like the fact that I know absolutely nothing about these things. At the same time I hope I will be able to do crazy stuff with it soon.

You’d get on, year before last he had a rolhoff fitted to his Thorne a week before riding from Norwich to the top of Norway. He had some issues, but “Google is your friend”.

Lots of changes to the fat bike: new rims, tires, handelbars, saddle and frame bag. Tires setup is now tubeless thanks to the amazing fatty strippers. Still need to fit proper frame protection. And maybe so slimmer headset spacers.

I buy them at Justpedal.nl.
They are basically large latex bands that you fit over your rim strips. Then you mount your tires with sealant and inflate it with a high pressure pump or compressor. Finally you cut away the excess latex.
This is my second set and it works really well.

These bars came with the bike. My hands very much like them. Not sure about the looks though.

Sold the first recumbent and got a more sensible one. Not nearly as fast, but way more practical and more comfortable.

A chap at work has just started commuting on his ‘bent, I don’t know what it is other than it’s bright green. He’s riding it to Spain soon.
