Yeah in reality I could probably make either work, I just know I don’t like a really long reach.
Are you riding a 62cm at the moment?

sorry the pauls are already moved.
@all thanks a lot for your help on my brake issues. i think i will leave the roller as is and work on my fixed skills. with paint and everything its just too expensive. played around with combining the canti upgrade with s&s couplers as i have a soft spot for travelbiking kind of stuff but that seems to be completely on another level of €.

The reach on the 62 is 420mm, that's not super long especially if you use flat bars

Actually have a cycle commute a few days a week from January, so with a bit of tweaking, the 2025 commuters shaped up. Rides like a dream (although going to chop bars back a bit).
44*20 is such a fun urban ratio.

Anyone know the suggested spindle length for a steamroller, with a Sugino chainset? Think they're RD2, but have some anniversary markings or something on.

45mm chainline requires a 103 according to this

Still on the lookout for a 62 roller!
I'm the same height and would pick a 62cm. The 3cm extra stack height is nice because these frames are quite low.
