They have said so yes but in the meantime rides of Japan has done it with one of those wolf tooth things that gives you extra cassette clearance

from what i've heard yes, next year. all i've heard is that it will allow mix and match, but not exactly sure what that will entail. i didn't specifically hear it is 12s, that is just my guess, kinda doubt it will be 13s. no udh required.
