I've just got carried away on a bike for the same purpose. Got a pretty mint Pinnacle Dolomite single speed here in a M 55cm tt with a tall ht. It's slightly too long for me with it's lay back seatpost at 5"10 so got an inline in the post. I should cut my losses on it really before I plough any more money into it. Paid £260 and just put fresh Supacaz tape on and Nuke Proof composite flats. Got new end plugs,inline post and used saddle in the post. I could do the lot for £300 or £275 with only the stock saddle? Spec sheet says it'll take 32's without guards but can probably go a couple of mm bigger and it takes guards and rack.

I need a new town bike for the commute etc, and I'd like it simple. Nothing too fancy as it'll be locked outside. Max maybe £400?
I'm down near Portsmouth, so shipping, or pending location can work something out!
