How industrial do you need to be? Is it a big job, hard wood etc etc

Probably not super industrial, mostly guitar building stuff so more about precision but also some hardwoods...

Most of the branded ones will do the job - spend your money on good quality router bits, particularly if you're plunge cutting

I recently bought a router attachment for my dremel. I’ve not tried it yet but I think it will be very precise
