I hate having to have a new phone. "Oh it's really simple, all you have to do is this and this and it's done"
Is it bollocks!I think there's a bit of a window between losing everything except your contact list and having half your shit back, subject to brand, settings, and possible third-party assistance here and there...
But yeah, I have no idea how I'd preserve my 300 open browser tabs without laboriously bookmarking or copying all the URLs... Not sure about SMS chat history either, if I was to change brands.
Not that I'm about to after eventually giving up on janky Chinese brands to settle on Samsung, but this phone (I think it's the first one I've bought new?) has just about run out of support, so it's getting on time to
buy another phonebury myself in XDA and Google for a fortnight figuring out how to root the bastard so I can flash it with an OS made by humans cooperating, as opposed to a corporation. That transition is bound to make a bit of a clunk... -

I read that first as boss, which I think I would hate even more.

When interdental brushes stab into the gum between your teeth instead of just between the teeth.

maybe brush your teeth to get the cheese out of the way first?

That I seem entirely incapable of putting clothes back in a wardrobe after I've used them, electing instead to leave them on my chairdrobe.
Thus having to put a week's worth of attire back all in the one go, great.
Also not charging things, you know bike computers, lights because winter.

After 13 years together my wife and I have settled into a fantastic largely unspoken arrangement when I leave my clothes for her to put away and she doesn’t wash pans. It seems pretty equitable.

I can only aspire to this kind of utopia.

You put clothes you've worn back in the wardrobe?

We have a long running quandary about the Big Chair in the bedroom that’s completely in the way, but without it where would we put the worn-once-or-twice-but-not-ready-for-the-wash clothes?
-
• #26438
The open wardrobe is good for this, don’t think ‘gamechanger’ quite applies, but it works better than the pile we used to have.

This.

Not ready for the wash but still shouldn't be mixed with clean clothes.
You need yourself a valet de chambre mate.

valet de chambre
'Chairdrobe', for those of us that weren't born in 17th century France.
[Edit]
And by chairdrobe, I mean chair, obvs. I just googled chairdrobe, and they make valets de chambre look like an afterthought.

- The colouring in new toothpastes. Why the fuck do I want bright blue all over my fucking sink that I've now got to clean?
- Leaving early only to be meet by delays which get me in the same time as usual. It feels like morning fuck you.

Spare a thought for people with bright blue sinks who have to clean white toothpaste off them.
