To be fair it's unfiltered tap water... But I can make a decent-tasting 1 cup v60 using the same water so that can't be the only culprit

I've found the filters for the clever are quite a bit thicker than the regular hario ones I have for the V60. I've upped the dose, and try to preheat the brewer as well.
