Honestly I think you'll be fine, bear in mind that the double front derailleur does not have indexing, meaning it's not diffcuilt to get it to go up and down.
If you mean you got a double/triple derailleur set up, then it sound like it gonna work well.
Mid-clamp isn't a problem, you just run the front derailleur cable along with the hydraulic brake hosing instead of on the top tube.
