I'm thinking of getting these,

I've got these. Wore them for some cold rides last winter, starting with an audax where it never got above 5 degrees and was very wet all morning. My hands survived. They are not bad gloves, probably my best winter ones nowadays.
is there a go to - waterproof, winter glove?

as I'm going to be out and about on the bike this winter, they've got the cold weather aspect down, road cc review ( https://road.cc/content/review/269665-galibier-barrier-deep-winter-gloves ) says "The softshell outer layer resists water for a while, but if it's really bucketing down it eventually gets through."
As the bucketing down part is when you want the gloves to keep your hands dry.
Any alternatives out there I should be looking at or are winter warm and waterproof gloves an oxymoron?
