I occasionally wear latex gloves under my lobsters if it's really cold. I can't remember where I saw the article or remember the science from it but having a non breathable layer next to the skin (even a very thin and otherwise non insulating one) is supposed to be a good way to retain heat. It seems to work for me anyway.
Does layering gloves help with keeping warmer for longer? Was thinking of buying a pair of large ski gloves and then wearing some soft wool gloves under that like a liner..
