I’ve never owned Ti before
Me neither. I keep telling myself I'm not old enough yet...

Wouldn't be my first choice for a lockup bike

I mean, I guess the pinion gearbox rules it out. But don't know where else to put it.

But it's not even got a dropper post ;-)

Must resist posting my own bikes now, despite them sometimes being mistaken for singlespeeds...

Weirdly fun looking

Tora are (or at least were) based just down the road from me - some super cool stuff.

Self-referral for the new (to me) Jones SWB Custom Select. Can't believe I've finally got one!

Due to the forecast of ice and possibly snow I rode this to work today. They lied, but I had fun on the way in.

Cross posting from the Kids bike thread. We had a lot of fun with this.

Same! Totally overbiked but at least it made me ride slowly and more deliberately.

Bit of a random one, but what would the equivalent to my Charge Cooker be if you were buying new today? Rigid, steel and SS.
-
• #4967
What wheel size, as most stuff now will be 29er?
-
• #4968
It’s a 29er,( but the same frame came with 26-27.5-29)It’s for a form at work. They want the replacement value of the bikes that were locked up at work today and I have no clue where to even start. It’s a shame I wasn’t on the Kish, the $6,000 build sheet would have finished our accounts guy off, having said that one of my colleagues often rides his newish tarmac in. I don’t get why that want to know, it’s not like their insurance will pay me out if it got nicked.

The only complete singlespeed build I can think of offhand now is the Kona Unit

Surly Lowside? State Klunker? There’s probably a wheelie bike that ticks the three boxes if not much else.
-
• #4971
Thanks both.
My first thought was the Lowside, but though the price was a bit punchy. TBH though I always thought Charge were under priced so maybe.
I did know they still did a unit SS.
I think it’s better than those wheelie bikes. -

Nice! It made me go off-road and get muddy yesterday and today so that’s a win anyway.

Same fringe weirdo market audience. Ideally someone decides they want to sell me a titanium 29er for a bargain price just because I’ve never owned Ti before.
