Bizarre question for today. Our outdoor cat who has become an indoor cat has caused issues coming in and out of the house at various random times throughout the day and night. Up until a few weeks ago, we had been lucky enough and she had always done her toilet things outside. Unfortunately she must have got caught short and urinated in the house once or maybe twice - not her fault really.
We have bought a litter tray and granular stuff and she has been using it - oddly without any training. We put it out and she used it - rather unexpected.
So the question, how often should the granular stuff be changed? I'm not sure if it matters but I have no sense of smell at all so smell isn't really an option.
If you use World's Best, shake the tray to identify big lumps. These are the bits which have soaked up the pee. Throw them in the toilet every couple of days.
