No doubt they're lovely tyres, reason for the sale is 2 fold.
1 - Aesthetically I just prefer black although the Rene Herse are about as good as tan tyres look.
2- Original intention was for 2 sets of tyres that I swapped over on one wheelset. Reality has been this is such a faff that I haven't really used the Hatcher Pass ones. I'm going to replace them with one set of tyres that are a little better suited to the gravel riding I do (I.e pretty good condition summer stuff). The Manastash Ridge ones are great for year round use but given I normally stick to the road in the winter I'm going to get something a bit quicker for the summer dry gravel I mainly ride. I don't have clearance to run the Hatcher Pass with guards so won't be using them over the winter either.
And I could also do with the cash ahead of Christmas!
