If I wanted to switch my bike to disc brakes what would be a reasonably priced fork to buy in order to try that? Specs would be
1 1/8" steerer
Disc brake (obviously)
700c
QR (although I'm aware this isn't optimal for disc brakes).
Reasonable tyre clearance (at least 40mm)
Suitable for all-road/light gravel and light touring use, so probably steel.
Eyelets at least at the dropout.
Also, has anyone had disc mounts added to a steel frame? Anything in particular to consider?
