To be fair, It was a piggyback and a fresh listing post is always a good idea. I have to say, props that they took the rough criticism on board and changed tack and listed here for a decent price.

I'm super happy to be getting the bike, gonna fit a motor to use it as our main run around and take the small humans ( they are ecstatic about the bike 😊) bike packing in Europe somewhere in the summer so hope that makes a happy ending? ❤️

Holy shit this is a happy ending, that sounds beautiful.

the eurovelo along the rhine is 100% safe.
pedal, eat, swim, sleep, repeat -

Also recommend French eurovelos. I've ridden a few with kids, they're perfect. If you're in the south of England, the Newhaven > Dieppe ferry is good, and lands you right on one out of Dieppe to Rouen.

Also look at 'voie vertes' on old railway lined, super safe and only v moderate gradients. Did some in northern France last year, they seem to link nicely with campsites.

The ViaRhona is another great route in (mostly) France: https://en.viarhona.com/. Really nice vineyards along the route for the grownups too.

Hey lovely lfgss people ! Picking the bike up Wednesday, anyone got experience taking a omnium on a UK train?
-
• #19
Best going during the deadest time of day. I did it once. But for a short journey, i just stood it up. I have seen people stand them upright on longer distances, resting on the cargo rack or front wheel. Unless you're going on a train with a bike carriage, if it's not busy you could just take over the whole bike section and should be alright.

It’s a lot more normal looking if you take the rack off, think it’s a 6mm Allen key (need a long one). I’d try and get on at a smaller station if any issues.

Congratulations! Great looking bike. What's the plans for the kids setup?
-
• #24
Well this will now have to be a thread of its own with kids bikepacking tips and photos please (of bike/set up, not kids...)

Looks like the kids can't wait for the trip.

Creating another post as I think the old one isn’t grabbing that much attention.
It doesn’t fit me hence the resell. Paid £1320 including delivery so would want that back, however having spoken to others on here they deem it fair I ask for half the delivery so £1260.
Come take a look in Shepherds Bush
