I paid £30 for the month. I didn't count the number of matches but it should be over 20. Seems ok value wise.

Smoked bacon.
What sort of deranged twat thinks it's a good idea to take something delicious - like bacon - and ruin its flavour by masking it with the taste of smoke? A totally deranged twat, that's who.
And I'm still upset by flat leaf parsley.

I used to do some work at a place next to a bacon factory. It’s fake smoke flavour and the whole area was heavy with the smell of it. Put me off ‘smoked’ bacon forever.

Bullshit shorthand job descriptions, in particular "creative" and "maker"
Apologies if you fall into any of these worthless categorisations (i do), but if you use these terms descriptively you should have a word with yourself. -

My current hate are idiots who don't understand how to anticipate operation of their high beams on country road driving.
Coming up to a bend are you? Oh maybe consider dipping them for 2 seconds. -

The development of 'auto-dip' lights is a nightmare. At least that's what I've put the increase of this down to when I'm blasted with the brightest light I've ever seen whilst cycling around at night.

my mum is a sea swimmer in brighton and her friend very generously bought her one for her birthday last week.
I had to find the most diplomatic way to tell her when it's socially frowned upon to wear one (any time other than going to or from the beach basically) and to expect some stares when she has it on.
she dgaf though.

i have astigmatism in my right eye. Until about 2 days ago, I had absolutely no idea that this might mean that car headlights driving towards me at night could make me squint and also make said headlight seem streaky/brighter/haloed etc.

Do you wear contacts/glasses when driving?
-
• #26396
I also have astigmatism and wear contacts nearly all the time. The other day I thought I'd try driving at night with my glasses instead and it made no difference 🤔
-
• #26397
I have severe astigmatisms in both eyes, driving in thr rain at night time is the worst, just a full Sci fi laser show.

Walking meetings.
WTAF! Yeah they are great for the deskbound folks as they make you get up and walk around a bit. Hell they even mean you get a bit of fresh air and a touch of vitamin D. But as somebody that works outside, I look forward to a sit down in a comfy chair, in the warm with a coffee. -
• #26399
nope. Can't bear the thought of contacts!

Cnuts think they're starring in the f@cking West Wing.
The decision to put the rugby autumn internationals behind a (fucking expensive) paywall. Wouldn't be QUITE so bad if there was some easy option to pay a small amount per match.
