Funnily enough I just googled most expensive breads to find them. It was 3rd on the list, Samoyed.

Was it a residential street? Remember you are a guest and a child, dog or pet rabbit could run out at any moment. Were there privately owned vehicles parked on the carriageway? If there were the pedestrian would have been in your path for much longer than if they weren’t. Every time your progress is slowed by a parked car I hope you post about it somewhere etc etc ;)

I get both yours and @hugo7 points. Yeh just take your time on residential streets, but some people are just pricks - like Fidough’s dad - or behave like pricks because they’re in the ravages of puberty or life has dealt them the worst possible hand.
A contrasting take from me. We live on 1-way road that is busy for about 30mins twice a day, in the rush hours. There are traffic lights at one end, so the cars are very slow or stopped. Do drivers let me cross to the shops or do I need to force the issue by stepping out, have a guess?
Some are selfish wankers; I think most are just terribly clueless.

Yep. Bougie residential street. Massive SUVs and panameras clogging up the drives not the street.
Near a school too! So yes I am acutely aware of speed and safety down that road. More so than most of the inhabitants.
It's in reference to/support of Testers point.
I'm sure there are occasions when women at night walk in the road for safety. But we all know that's not the answer to thingybob's question, is it?

Do people take comfort in having a little power in a situation as the world feels more unstable. SUVs, getting buff at the gym, making a car driver slow down etc?
Edit: tester said similar earlier -

It definitely stems from insecurity, in A LOT of cases.

Totally get both points as well. Now take a moment to imagine what sort of driver Daddy Fidough is ~

• #124334
The kind of cunt that doesn’t let pedestrians cross the road.

• #124335
Exactly that.

I'm going to be giving someone a experience as a present and wanted to make a nice voucher, so it's more like I'm giving them a gift.
What's the best way to do this?
I'm thinking ppt to pdf. But also have canva on my phone, albeit I'm not that familiar with it.
Then any recommendations to print it? Or just whatever comes up from a Google search.
Cheers.

Don't forgot those euro Brotweilers. Breadlington terrier seems a bit obvious.

Shower has stopped working. The big cooker type switch with a red light, I took it off the wall to see if it was burnt out inside but it looks fine, no obvious burning, wiring was tight.
Whats the best way forward? Switch the mains off and just replace the whole switch and hope that sorts it?

Has the fuse tripped?
-
• #124344
No, no fuses tripped at the box.
I forgot to mention the red light on the switch no longer comes on, so that makes me suspect it could just be the switch thats fucked?
I’m hoping replacing the switch sorts it rather than it being something at the fuse box or the shower it’s self.

Cheaper to change the switch than the shower...
Do you have a way to test continuity of the switch?
Also do you have i pull-chord switch to turn power on as well? They can oftern go wrong...

I’ve been to Toolstation and back since my last post….
Great success! 👨🏻👍
New switch installed and it’s working now. I’m always apprehensive to mess about with anything mains powered but glad to have dodged paying a sparky a hundred quid plus vat!
