Yep, mines an XL and just about fits. I also put it on the back of the campervan (T5) no problems too. Its relative bike proportions are why I like it so much. This picture is on a Thule rack.

anyone on here use a PowUnity tracker? It seems it's the small battery in mine that has stopped working so the alarm only works if the bike is switched on! PowUnity say they're going to send me a replacement. Don't know how long it'll take or how much it'll cost

How are people fixing boxes to racks? I want a semi permanent theft resistant solution....

I’ve got a similar setup with zip ties.

Actually thinking back, when I was in Bordeaux with work I dropped into this shop and they let me test their Muli- absolutely loved it! https://taalweg.com/
They also showed me a super cool click fitting for racks that secures eurocrates and child seats but I can’t for the life of me find it online. I’ve dropped them an email and will update 🫡

Washers with nuts and bolts.
Or if you need more support / strength, the a flat bit of metal with holes, then washers, nuts and bolts.
When I was searching for an image I noticed universal roof box fixings. I've got some of these for my roof box and thinking about it, they would be a good shout as the plate is nice and thick.

Has anyone got a Petit Porteur?
Any good? They will deliver the one that is ready for a motor to the UK. I'm getting tempted by the idea.

Two people on here have used the same one.
I wanted it but moved too slow.
I think they both rate it. Is a bit chunky. -

Somebody around where I live has one of those.. every time I see them I smile, but at the same time think to myself "I'd never get one of those" (they really seem very clunky / heavy) 🙂

Following! Tempted but the last time I checked they would only deliver frames to the UK. How’s the postage/customs charges on the motor ready one?

@snowy_again has one I think

I what way?
Other than omnomnoms don't all cargo bikes seem clunky?
-
• #14745
I've just been through their shopping process for a laugh and I got to the end, and they don't include the UK as a destination - so would need to contact them to get the info.

In what way?
Other than omnomnoms don't all cargo bikes seem clunky?I haven't ridden the thing myself but whenever I see that person riding it it looks quite exhausting even with the e-assist (can't seem to find the weight / specs so maybe it is indeed not as heavy as it looks?) - also you hear them coming a mile away usually as the bike / transport box is rattling all over 🙂
Actually I'd say even those 7K Riese & Müller montrosities look more nimble than this thing, not to mention the Omniums, Muli's etc.

Trikes are pretty much rough to ride. Really dont have any issues with the long johns. Even UA isnt that bad, e-assist set right feels like an analog.

Small ratchet straps, Aykasa crate- it’s got small slots which mean the straps are quite well hidden inside, it’s very secure and I’m not sure the average opportunistic thief would work out how to undo it from the cargo bed in time
mine are from decathlon but unsure if they stock them anymore, found them on Debhenhams website https://www.debenhams.com/product/decathlon-decathlon-tightening-strap-kit-2-x-3-m_p-3cc52ebe-6d7b-4c7d-a8df-6088d6083557?colour=Black&size=One+Size&istCompanyId=76f7277d-6e78-4dc2-aaff-1eb77fae16b0&istFeedId=258a4886-8f3c-47ef-9369-d1eda8d84501&istItemId=mrtwxliwq&istBid=t&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAABevdS5Kz2GN-AWmzfDMLb5xVntJx&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIrJifsqXfiQMVLJJQBh1VeAAZEAQYBiABEgI1BvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

To help with searching those are called cam straps not ratchet straps … quite easy to get hold of on eBay. I bought a few to fix things to a pizza rack.

I've always fancied one, but as others have said they don't seem to deliver to the UK.
I did consider getting the Eurostar to Paris and riding one back...
..actually it was a omnium cargo, guess minimax doable ....
