Anova are good.
I forget who made mine, it's not a brand and no longer available... so controversially, if you're going wand I don't think there is a huge difference. But not having a vacuum sealer makes me want a nice one, but I don't use it enough to warrant one.
So tbh I'd just get Anova for both of them so you have a nice matchy-matchy gift. Idk if they'll use all the Bluetooth stuff or integrate it to their home assistant or whatever, but it's more stuff to play with if they're that way inclined.
anyone using a sous vide machine that isn't made by anonymous chinese amazon sellers? Ideally a kit that does vacuum sealing and the cooking part. My brother is turning 40 next month and wants one.
