Does yours curve over the caliper like mine (Brompton) or straight-line (CatEye)? I tried the CatEye one and clearance was an issue - it was workable but contacting the calipers

Ah, that's the official one. Might be worth testing the Brompton dynamo hack to see if you get on better. If you're around E&C on Thursday, you're welcome to check mine and mount your 1700lm light lol.
