Almost any piece of scrap plastic, leather, or rubber would do depending on how much flex you require. Drill and bolt or rivet on - how is the stay attached to the fender, what’s under the sks cap? Maybe you don’t even have to drill a new hole.

Specifically, HB-M525 and HB-M475, but for me the price difference isn't enough to make me give up on getting XT rather than something inferior.
