I built it up my wife's old frame and groupset today with parts from my parts stock. There's a few things that still need doing to it but I'm not keen to spend any money on it unless it sells. So I'm putting it up here with a caveat that if you want to buy it, it'll take me a week to finish it get a chain, replace the bartape and replace the bearings in the rear hub. Or it can be bought as pictured. I hope this is ok to do but if not let me know and I'm happy to pull the ad until it's all done.
It's for sale either £500 as pictured, or £550 if I fit new bartape, a chain and replace the rear hub bearings.
Obviously it's a decade old, and it's priced accordingly. So expect a few chips and scuffs to the paintwork, but no cracks or significant structural damage. There's quite a bit of heel rub on the cranks too. Having said that, my wife doesn't put out 1000+ watts so it's had quite an easy life. It all works as it should, weighs nothing and you'd be hard pressed to find a faster bike for £500, particularly uphill. I'd turn it into a hillclimb bike if if I had any room in the shed.
Any questions please ask, and viewings welcome in SW14.
